Thankful for Our Trusted Relationships

The holiday season is typically a time to give thanks and express gratitude in our personal lives. However, gratitude in our professional world is also essential as it satisfies an individual desire for belonging. The appreciation of our relationships provides a feeling greater than ourselves. Being part of an organization where you feel appreciated, valued, and respected creates a desire to reach your fullest potential.

Gratitude goes hand in hand with the act of giving recognition. When we recognize one another, it makes us even more appreciative and inspires the person we’ve thanked to give that feeling to someone else, leading to a chain of increased morale, energy, and engagement – all of which directly influence network growth, performance, and trust. In effect, the result is a ripple of acknowledgment and appreciation that surges forward, transforming and inspiring us.

When recognition is offered frequently, the impact of that positive reinforcement is even greater. While people can underestimate the impact of showing their gratitude, it’s actually contagious and can absolutely transform a network. It makes us authentic, creating a powerful human connection between the giver and the receiver. Praise creates a virtuous cycle – the more you give, the more you enhance your own supply. When done right, praise primes the brain for higher performance. In other words, the more we praise our connections, the more success we create. And the more successes there are, the more there is to praise. The more you can authentically shine praise on everyone in your network, the more your own potential will grow.

Member Spotlight: Jon Welch

In this month’s Member Spotlight, we are delighted to share a few words about our friend – Jon Welch. If someone were asked to describe Jon, the words “loyal” and “steadfast” might come to mind. He is quick to mention that he has been a Trustegrity member in the Bay Area for about 10 years continuously and finds great value in the familiar environment that allows him to share ideas about solving problems while also celebrating successes among those in his group. Jon is a Sales Director with TASC, and he helps a range of brokers, providers, and clients develop and manage employee benefit programs. Just as in his regular work activities, he describes his personal satisfaction of being able to make introductions between fellow Trustegrity members, many of which become long-term advisors and friends. And that mindset is most clearly demonstrated by the fact that, years ago, he actually introduced Laurie Pearce to Trustegrity, and from that initial introduction she is now a very active Regional Connector in the company. We are proud to spotlight Jon, but more importantly, we value his active involvement as one of our most tenured members.

Giving you The Power to Grow through Meaningful Relationships

Start Planning Your 2022 Resolutions Now

Almost everyone makes new year’s resolutions, whether it’s getting in shape, improving relationships, or finding a new job. It’s a great idea to make resolutions that will help simplify your life and grow your network. The beginning of the year is the perfect time to review your plan for building relationships.

  • Do you need to revise your plan and expand your circles?
  • Do you need to create deeper relationships with fewer contacts?
  • Most importantly, did you set goals last year and if so, how did you do ?

Write it all down so you know what you’re working toward in the new year. Having a defined plan and goals helps keep you on track throughout the year and keeps you accountable to yourself. This can make all the difference in your success. In 2022 as more events shift to “real-life” and offices reopen, face-to-face conversations will feel different and even special at times. It’s important to attend events to find new opportunities, clients, collaborators, vendors, service providers, and even friends. There will be plenty of opportunities scheduled in the new year to consider. Don’t let them get away.

The Lifestyle of Achievement Summit~

Mark your calendars to attend virtually on November 12, 2021, from 11 am until 2 pm. We look forward to seeing all Trustegrity Members at this annual yearly event!

Member Spotlight: Mark McKenzie

Friendly. Reliable. Customer-focused. Trustworthy. You’re fortunate if someone uses just one of these words to describe your personality and business approach. And if they use all of these words and perhaps many others, then you’re in a class of your own in a very good way. Meet Mark McKenzie, this month’s featured Trustegrity member. Mark is indeed a trusted friend to everyone he meets and sets the bar really high when it comes to meeting customer expectations. His business is Docqmax Digital Printing in Atlanta, and since 1975, Mark and his brothers have delivered exceptional service to a variety of customers in the metro Atlanta area and beyond.

When talking about Trustegrity, Mark describes with great passion how helping others and solving problems through introductions really drives him personally … and it shows. He describes how the basis of Trustegrity – making powerful relationships – is different (and better) than many other organizations. Mark talks about how focusing on relationships and helping one another is the key to personal and professional growth. And Mark McKenzie lives by those principles every day. We are proud to call him our great friend and to count him as part of our amazing membership.
